Sipp Vodka, every product and where to buy it

Sipp makes vodka and ready-to-drink cocktails in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Meridian15 designed and built its website around two tasks, understanding the range and finding a store that stocks it, then produced launch artwork for two new drinks.

A prairie vodka with two ranges on the shelf

Sipp Vodka is made in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, from Saskatchewan grain. The line-up runs to ten products in two ranges. The premium black-label range is built around the flagship 750 mL vodka, with a Caesar and the You Bet! iced teas. The Sipp N’Soda range is a white-label vodka, a sparkling vodka soda in four flavours, Lime, Cranberry Lime, Grapefruit and Orange, and a 12-pack mixer.

Sipp needed a website that explained the vodka and the ready-to-drink products and showed people where to buy them. A separate creative engagement produced launch artwork for Sipp N’Soda and for You Bet!, Sipp’s vodka iced tea.

Two tasks, and every page points at one of them

A drinks site has two visitors worth building for. One wants to know what a product is. The other already knows and wants to find a shelf. Product pages explain each drink with its size, strength and pack, and every one of them leads to the store locator.

Where to Buy is an interactive map of retailers across Alberta and Saskatchewan. Visitors filter by province or use their own location, and the same page lists the arenas, stadiums and venues that pour Sipp by the glass.

The Sipp N’Soda launch got its own page. Tap a can to switch flavour and the page changes with it, with tasting notes for each of the four and a route to a store.

Two tasks, two buttons

The homepage opens on Find a Store and Explore Products. Everything below it serves one or the other.

The site, and the launch work beside it

sippvodka.ca was designed and built in Calgary by Meridian15, as plain HTML generated with Eleventy and served by Netlify. It carries an age check, the homepage with its two routes, Our Story, a Products page covering both ranges, Where to Buy with its retailer map, the Sipp N’Soda launch page and a contact page.

In a separate engagement, the studio made launch artwork for Sipp N’Soda and You Bet!, with mockups showing it on an arena video wall, a rinkside board and a ribbon board. The arena pictures below are placement mockups.

The work, where it lives

The site is live at sippvodka.ca, and its frames run as the Sipp Vodka row on our portfolio. How the studio approaches drinks brands is on the alcohol brand marketing page, and what a spirits brand’s website needs is on the spirits website design page.

One scope note. This case study describes the work. It reports no traffic, sales or conversion figures. Facts about Sipp’s products and where they are sold come from Sipp’s own site.
