1. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files that a website can ask your browser to store. Similar technologies include local browser storage and identifiers saved by third-party media providers.
2. Our Current Cookie Setup
Meridian15 sets one cookie of its own, for the answer check on our homepage (below). The site runs no analytics, no tag manager, no advertising pixel and no retargeting script, so nothing measures your visit or follows you to other sites.
Google Analytics ran on this site until October 7, 2026. If you visited before then, your browser may still hold the first-party cookies it set, named _ga and _ga_ followed by a property identifier. The site no longer reads or renews them, and they expire two years after they were set.
The “Are you the answer?” check on our homepage sets one cookie of its own, m15_answer, when that part of the page asks how many live checks you have left, which it does as you scroll to it. It holds a random, signed identifier and nothing about you, and it is only sent back to this site’s own server functions, never to anyone else. It lets us limit how often the check can be run, so it stays free. Our log of checks also turns it into a one-way code, so repeat checks from one browser count as one (see our Privacy Policy). It is strictly necessary for that, can’t be read by other scripts on the page, and expires after 30 days. The check may also ask a security provider whether a visitor is a person.
3. Contact Forms and Campaign Parameters
Our contact forms process the information you choose to submit. If the current page URL contains UTM parameters or a gclid value, the form can include those values with that submission. We do not save those parameters in a first-party cookie or retain them across pages in browser storage.
4. Vimeo Playback
Some pages offer external video hosted by Vimeo. Meridian15 does not open a Vimeo connection until you choose to start playback. After you open the player, Vimeo may receive connection data such as your IP address, browser details, device information, and referring page, and may set its own cookies or other third-party storage. Vimeo controls that processing under its privacy policy.
5. Browser Controls
Your browser settings let you inspect, clear, or block cookies and other site storage, including any old Google Analytics cookies from an earlier visit. Blocking third-party storage may affect Vimeo playback. It does not prevent you from browsing the rest of the Meridian15 site or submitting a contact form.
