# Cookie Policy

## 1. What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files that a website can ask your browser to store. Similar technologies include local browser storage and identifiers saved by third-party media providers.

## 2. Our Current Cookie Setup

Meridian15 uses Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to measure how this website is used. That is the only analytics or tag product on the site. We do not run advertising pixels or retargeting scripts, and we do not sell the data it collects.

Analytics does not load with the page. It waits for your first scroll, pointer movement, touch, key press or click, or for four seconds, whichever comes first. If you leave before any of that happens, no measurement is sent.

Once it loads, Google Analytics sets first-party cookies in your browser named **_ga** and **_ga_** followed by a property identifier. They hold a randomly generated number that tells one browser from another, so a repeat visit is not counted as a new person. They expire two years after they are set. Google Tag Manager does not set cookies of its own; it loads the measurement tag described above. Google handles that data as our processor.

## 3. Contact Forms and Campaign Parameters

Our contact forms process the information you choose to submit. If the current page URL contains UTM parameters or a gclid value, the form can include those values with that submission. We do not save those parameters in a first-party cookie or retain them across pages in browser storage.

## 4. Vimeo Playback

Some pages offer external video hosted by Vimeo. Meridian15 does not open a Vimeo connection until you choose to start playback. After you open the player, Vimeo may receive connection data such as your IP address, browser details, device information, and referring page, and may set its own cookies or other third-party storage. Vimeo controls that processing under its [privacy policy](https://vimeo.com/privacy).

## 5. Browser Controls

Your browser settings let you inspect, clear, or block cookies and other site storage. Blocking first-party cookies stops Google Analytics from telling your repeat visits apart, and blocking third-party storage may affect Vimeo playback. Neither prevents you from browsing the rest of the Meridian15 site or submitting a contact form. Google also publishes a browser add-on that opts you out of Google Analytics on every site.
