Front-end and creative development on client brand work, from production build through to the motion and real-time graphics that carry it.

An editor reviewing film at a studio workstation

You build the front end of client brand and campaign work: production sites, landing pages and the interactive pieces that sit on them. The mix runs from careful standards-led build to the motion, WebGL and 3D that makes a campaign worth stopping on.

You work alongside the designers, producers and strategists on each brief rather than in isolation, and close enough to the client to present technical direction and take feedback on it directly.

The stack is Astro, React and TypeScript with Tailwind, Three.js for real-time work, Lenis for scroll and Netlify functions on the server side. Performance, semantic structure and accessibility are treated as part of the build. Nothing ships without passing a release gate that loads the real pages in a browser and fails on a console error, a broken request, a duplicate H1 or horizontal overflow.

You are right for this if

  • Strong JavaScript and TypeScript, modern CSS, and a current build toolchain
  • Three.js or WebGL used on something real, not only a tutorial
  • Motion work: GSAP or equivalent, and advanced CSS animation
  • Performance, accessibility and responsive behaviour treated as part of the build
  • A portfolio of shipped interactive work, roughly two years or more of it

Also useful

  • GLSL, or a genuine interest in learning it here
  • React Three Fiber and Drei
  • WebGPU, TSL or compute shaders
  • A 3D pipeline: Blender, glTF, lighting and materials
  • Astro, or another stack where payload discipline is the point
  • Design training you still practise
