02 · THE STANCE

## Every shop on the shortlist sells the same three letters.

PPF, ceramic, correction. The owner comparing four tabs at 11pm cannot tell one film from another, so the website decides who gets the message. Most shops make that hard. In August 2026, five of the six Calgary PPF and coating shop homepages checked showed no price at all, and three had no form. A site that names the price, shows the finish and scopes the job in the form wins that tab before anyone picks up the phone.

## What a detailing shop website has to do

It sells the protection work, not the wash. The homepage leads with the high-ticket services, paint protection film, ceramic or graphene coating and paint correction, each on its own card with a listed price, what it covers and how long it lasts. The inquiry form asks which service and which vehicle, so the message arrives already scoped. The proof sits beside the booking button, the Google rating, the warranty and the certifications, with photographs of real cars in the real bay.

Here is what that did for one shop. Precise Detailing rebuilt its Calgary site this way in May 2026. Over its first 13 weeks the contact form logged 38 inquiries and 82% named a service listed at $750 or more. Inquiries doubled from June to July, 9 to 18, and only 2 of the 38 asked about the $100 motorcycle detail. Those counts are form submissions only, so calls, texts and walk-ins sit on top of them. The full numbers are in the [case study](https://fifteenthmeridian.com/blog/calgary-ppf-shop-website-case-study).

Meridian15 designs and builds these sites from Calgary for shops across Canada. The same approach runs through Airshine, a mobile aircraft detailer in Western Canada, whose site explains each treatment and ends in a quote request. Every build is quoted to its scope in writing before work starts, and the shop owns the site outright.

04 · WHAT GETS BUILT

## Four things a detailing site needs.

Scoped as one build. Each one is live on a site you can go and check.

01

### A priced service menu

One card per service with the price, what it covers and how long it lasts. Precise lists six on its homepage, from a $100 motorcycle detail to a $1,200 graphene coating, with full-body PPF on the services page. The price does the qualifying before the first reply.

02

### A form that scopes the job

Service, vehicle and how to reach you, and nothing more. Most inquiries arrive pre-scoped, so the first reply can be a quote rather than a round of questions. Airshine’s request form asks for the aircraft for the same reason.

03

### Proof beside the ask

The rating, the warranty and the certifications sit next to the booking button, not on a page nobody opens. Precise shows a 5.0 Google rating across 92 reviews and a five-year warranty above the fold.

04

### Search and AI answers

A page per service written the way owners search, schema that matches what the page says, and a Google Business Profile that points each search at the right page. Built to be found for PPF, ceramic coating and paint correction in the shop’s own city.

05 · ANTI-PATTERNS

## What keeps a detailing shop stuck on washes.

Five mistakes from the shop sites checked for the case study. Every one of them sends the four-figure buyer to the next tab.

01

### No price anywhere

Five of six Calgary shop homepages checked in August 2026 showed no price. The owner shopping for a $1,200 coating reads that as a haggle and opens another tab. A listed price filters the buyer before the phone rings.

02

### Leading with interior details

A homepage that opens on the interior clean gets interior-clean inquiries. By the owner’s estimate about 30% of Precise’s jobs the year before were interiors. The new menu left interior packages off entirely, and 82% of inquiries named $750+ work.

03

### Stock photos of someone else’s car

An owner paying for film wants to see film on a real car in your bay. A stock supercar reads as a template, and the shop with its own photographs wins the comparison.

04

### A form that asks nothing

Name, email and message brings back “how much for ceramic?”. Ask for the service and the vehicle and the first reply can carry a number.

05

### The map listing points at the homepage

A lot of local searches start on the map. If the profile’s website link lands on a generic homepage, the PPF shopper has to go looking for PPF. Point it at the page that answers the search.

[06 · THE PROCESS]

## How a detailing site build actually runs.

Four phases with named deliverables. The service menu comes first, because the prices on it decide who fills in the form.

01

### Audit Wk 1

The current site, the Google Business Profile, the reviews, and the jobs the shop wants more of. Out: a written gap report and the scope, quoted as one number.

02

### Menu and copy Wk 1-2

Services, prices, coverage and warranty written into cards and service pages, in the words owners search with. Out: the service menu and every page’s copy.

03

### Design and build Wk 2-5

Real cars in the real bay, the inquiry form, the proof beside the booking button, and a fast mobile build. Out: a live site the shop owns outright.

04

### Launch and track Wk 5+

Form tracking, the Google Business Profile pointed at the right pages, and a monthly count of inquiries by service. Out: numbers the owner can check.

07 · FAQ

## Questions, answered.

**Who builds websites for auto detailing and PPF shops in Canada?**

Meridian15 does, from Calgary. The studio built the site for Precise Detailing, a Calgary paint protection shop whose contact form logged 38 inquiries in its first 13 weeks, with 82% naming a service listed at $750 or more. It also built the site for Airshine, a mobile aircraft detailer in Western Canada. Both sites are live.

**Should a detailing shop show prices on its website?**

Yes, for the services you want more of. A listed price sets expectations and filters out the buyer who was never going to spend four figures. Five of six Calgary PPF and coating shop homepages checked in August 2026 showed no price, which makes the one that does easier to choose. Precise lists a price on every service card.

**What should a ceramic coating or PPF shop website include?**

A card per service with the price, the coverage and the warranty, a page per service that answers the questions owners ask, photographs of real cars in your bay, the Google rating and certifications beside the booking button, and a form that asks which service and which vehicle.

**How do I get more high-ticket detailing inquiries from my website?**

Lead with the protection work, price it, and make the form scope the job. On the Precise Detailing site, 82% of inquiries named a service listed at $750 or more, and paint protection film and paint correction alone were 61% of all inquiries.

**Can you build online booking for a detailing shop?**

Yes. The booking path follows how the shop works. A shop that quotes every job gets a form that collects the service and the vehicle. A shop with fixed packages can send people straight to a booking calendar. A mobile detailer gets a service-area check before the form.

**Do you build websites for mobile detailers and aircraft detailers?**

Yes. Airshine is a mobile aircraft detailer, and its site separates ceramic coating, wash and wax, brightwork and window restoration, then ends in a quote request for the owner’s aircraft. A mobile auto detailer needs the same structure plus a clear service area.

**How long does a detailing shop website take?**

A simple site launches in 2 to 4 weeks from kickoff, and a full redesign of an existing site ships in 4 to 6 weeks. The service menu and prices are settled first, because every page after them depends on what the shop wants to sell.

**What does a detailing shop website cost?**

Every build is quoted to its scope after a short audit, one fixed number in writing before work starts. Page count, booking, photography and a shop move the number. There is no rate card.

**Do you only work with Calgary detailing shops?**

No. The studio is in Calgary and Precise is a Calgary shop, but the site, the copy and the search setup ship anywhere in Canada, and the audit starts from the shop’s own city and competitors.
