The client

## An engineer’s approach to an aircraft’s finish

Airshine Professional Aircraft Detailing is a mobile business that works at the owner’s hangar across Western Canada. It was founded by Wyatt Kaenel, a SAIT-trained aircraft maintenance engineer and pilot. It offers four treatments, ceramic coating, wash and wax, brightwork restoration and window restoration, on pistons, turboprops, jets, floats, helicopters and ag aircraft.

Airshine’s own site states 200+ aircraft detailed and 90+ five-star reviews over 9+ years. Those are Airshine’s figures about its own business, not results of the website.

The brief was to explain the services, show the work and make it easy for an owner to ask for a quote.

The decisions

## Organise the site around what the aircraft needs

Owners do not shop for detailing in general. They have a dull spinner, a hazed window or paint that has gone chalky. So the site separates the four treatments, and each gets its own page saying what it covers and what is included.

The process is written as a walkaround. Assessment, decontamination, correction and protection, then a final inspection with the owner in good light. Airframe, brightwork, glass and gear are all part of the job, so a single treatment reads as part of how the whole aircraft is looked after.

Proof sits next to the ask. A ramp log of recent jobs lists each aircraft and what it needed, owner reviews sit beside the services, and the quote form asks for the aircraft type or registration, the home airport and the service. Airshine starts the first conversation already knowing the job.

### A page per treatment

Ceramic coating, wash and wax, brightwork and windows each get a page that says what is included.

### The ramp log

Recent jobs listed by aircraft, a Bell 206, a King Air, an Air Tractor, with what each one needed.

### A form that asks for the aircraft

Type or registration, home airport and service, so a quote can start from the first message.

What shipped

## The site, and the creative around it

[airshine.ca](https://airshine.ca/) was designed and built by Meridian15, as plain HTML generated with Astro and served by Netlify. It has a homepage, a services overview and a page for each of the four treatments, the ramp log of recent work, a Notes section, an About page for Wyatt and the quote form. Each service page is titled with the treatment and the region, for example Ceramic coating for aircraft, Airshine, Western Canada.

Alongside the site, the Airshine row of our portfolio shows service and brand creative, below.

Craft / The finish Brightwork is easiest to explain by showing it. The polished spinner is the standard the service content sets.

![Sunlight running in a clean line along the polished blue fuselage and canopy of a small aircraft.](https://fifteenthmeridian.com/images/work/showcase/ordered/airshine/10-craft-cockpit.webp)

Craft / Reflection A corrected surface holds a straight line, a reference an owner can check against their own aircraft.

Brand / Identity Stationery built on the Airshine wordmark and a single small aircraft.
